In this engaging, practical, and impactful workshop –delivered in an age appropriate and contextual matter – students discover:
- The STAGE TO SPEAK is not limited to formal settings (e.g. speech at assembly) but also includes informal settings like discouraging bullying behaviours, encouraging peers, connecting with others, and engaging in conversation about important topics (i.e. mental health).
- The CORE COMPETENCIES to capture attention, build connection, stir up emotion and inspire action.
- The STUMBLING BLOCKS that inhibit individuals from truly discovering, harnessing, and developing their abilities to become the remarkable speakers they can and are called to be.
- A POWERFUL AND PROVEN FRAMEWORK to overcome fear and build confidence to step on stage and speak with power and conviction.
- A STEP-BY-STEP METHOD to prepare a remarkable presentation – both relevant and engaging – that not only fosters greater confidence for delivery but will also leave audiences raving once delivered.
- PRACTICAL STRATEGIES to communicate effectively in informal settings.

We recommend the following to schools:
- To gain an expression of interest from parents, promote the TRS workshop opportunity via the school newsletter and other avenues, indicating they can use their child’s creative kids voucher for it. Like the Dine & Discover initiative, it’s up to parents how they wish to use this voucher. The school is simply giving parents the option to use it for their child’s public speaking development.
- Parents can REGISTER HERE using their CK voucher, resulting in their child being able to participate at no cost.
- Students who have already redeemed their voucher can still take part in the program, but their participation will be at full price, being $100 per child - paid either by the parent of the child, or the school.
Please note the minimum and maximum number requirements for the running of this workshop during school hours:
- 15 students (minimum) are required for a virtual delivery via zoom.
- 20 students (maximum, and no less than) are required for this workshop to be delivered in person. Note, this only applies to Greater Sydney based schools. For regional NSW schools, this workshop is delivered virtually.
